Siv’s Story

Siv Ashley started her life as a normal child in Cambodia.  Her family was loving and caring and had a great love for God.  On April 16, 1975, everything changed.  Pol Pot's soldiers evacuated her family, along with thousands of other Cambodians, and marched them to work camps to work in the government's rice fields.  Children worked 12+ hours a day.  With little food, many children starved to death.

Siv persevered through years of enslavement and constantly being surrounded by death by relying on her faith in God. She now lives in the United States and has a passion for missions, both at home and abroad. She travels the world, paying it forward, by sharing the gospel and spreading God’s light to those who do not have access to Biblical education.
